My birthday

I turned 24 yesterday!

I expected the day to be quite boring but it was pretty nice actually.
In the morning I was kind of annoyed because they turned off our electricity for 4 (!) hours which means no internet, no TV, no coffee, not even warm water. -_- But fortunately my sister came to visit me in the morning and we went to the city center to buy cake and look around just for fun. We wanted to go shopping but I didn't even find anything nice. >.<

We've bought a "Donauwelle" birthday cake, it tastes like chocolate, cream and cherries.

In the afternoon my sister's boyfriend arrived at my home and it was the first time we met.
We were listening to classic rock songs, eating cake and drinking coffee until my honey came home. He brought a box of chocolate and a fancy wine for me.

There was actually glitter on the cocolate!

Today I received a package from my friends including a Toothless figure (from the movie "How to train your dragon"), a bracelet and a necklace! It was such a cute gift because they must've remembered that I postet something about "How to train your dragon" on FB the other day! So sweet!

Close up of the jewellery:

Love it, thank you so much my dear friends!

In the evening Xin invited me to Yangtse restaurant in Dortmund. It's a Chinese buffet restaurant with a lot of different things like Sushi, ice cream, rice, noodles etc.

Oh here's something I found at H&M yesterday (the only thing I liked enough to buy): it's a tiny panda!

...which is actually a lip balm! It costs 2.99€ and I have to say the lip balm has no color/taste/scent and isn't even that moisturizing. But I don't mind as long as I get to carry a tiny panda in my bag!

I didn't receive all presents from my friends and family yet and I can't wait because I have no idea what else I'll get! Oh and I also ordered some Korean skin care stuff for me that I will show you when I get it! ^_^

Favourite photos of my bunny - R.I.P Bommi

Hello lovelies!

As some of your already know, my beloved bunny Bommi passed away on 2nd November.
It was a sunny autumn day and happend really fast. We assume it was due to an undiscovered bowel disease. Her suffering didn't last too long, which was a little relief to my husband and me.

We will keep her in good memory, and now that I'm feeling better I want to share my favourite photos of my bunny and tell you a little more about her.

This is the first photo I've ever taken of her. It was when I saw her for the very first time... it was love at first sight. She was the cutest bunny I've ever seen!

On the train when I took Bommi home. ^.^ Of course I also had a transport box with me, but she was so calm I let her sit on my lap! A lot of people were smiling at the both of us!

At home on the sofa. I have to work on my laptop a lot and when she was small, Bommi was often lying down right next to me. Of course it was impossible resisting to pet this little fluffy bunny!

When it was warm enough, my sister and I took Bommi out on the balcony with us.

Favourite photo of the both of us!
She was small enough for me to hold her with one hand only. Thinking about how big she got, I wonder how that was ever possible! :)

Being a bunny is exhausting. -_-

The softness in this picture! <3

She always licked our hands, I call it "bunny kisses". It was the best feeling in the world knowing you're so loved. <3

Some of the last pictures were taken only a few days before she passed away. :(
Rest in peace, little Bommi. I wish we could've spent more time together, but the time we had was wonderful and I hope you feel the same. <3

Trip to Hamburg + my first Purikura!

Last weekend we made a one-day-trip to Hamburg with our friends. ^_^
We planned to go to Heidepark, an amusement park in Soltau and since it's close to Hamburg, my friends figured we can spend a day there as well!

On Saturday we started our trip with a ~3 hours drive to Hamburg.

After checking in to our hotel we went for lunch at "Jam Jam", a running sushi restaurant.

It was so much fun! They had dim sum, vegetables, sushi, mochis and much more.
I think the four of us were taking aaaall the good stuff away from the other customers, haha!

I went totally crazy over the avocado sushi. I haven't had sushi for a long time so I took this chance and stuffed myself with it. :D You should've seen the huge stack of plates on our table! We felt very sorry for the employers who are in charge of washing dishes.... ^_^"

They also had bubble tea! I chose almond bubble tea with tapioca pearls, it was sooo good!

After lunch we walked to the J-Store, which is a shop for manga and Japanese merchandise... and most importantly it has a purikura machine (which was the main reason why we wanted to go there)!

My first purikuras ever... ;__;

This one was one of our first tries and Xin wasn't fast enough to get in the picture. ;_;

Halloween theme, perfect for October. <3

We keep saying that we girls are bunnies and our guys are pandas. :'D

The small puri in the upper left corner was our very first one and it was a huge fail. :D

Also, "nusae suseu" was just gibberish that we were typing in a hurry when we tried to figure out how everything works...

I don't even want to upload the full body pictures because I look so fat in them. :D I had to stand in the front and SQUAT so Xin would fit in the pictures... he's too tall. T_T~

We also took couple puris. <3

I'm only allowed to upload this one because Xin thinks he looks weird with the eye enlarging effect, altough I told him he looks handsome, but he won't believe me. ;_; But it does look like he's wearing circle lenses or something.

The J-Store itself wasn't impressive to me at all... it's rather small and besides mangas they had a few backbacks, Dragonball plushies and One Piece T-Shirts. Also some expensive school Lolita dresses... so the shop unfortunately wasn't too interesting for me.

We then walked around the streets of Hamburg, towards the sea. Afterall, when you're in Hamburg, you gotta see the harbors!

Last but not least we visited the Miniature Museum, which exhibits models of several big cities.

Every now and then they turned down the lights in the museum as you can see!

We had a really good day in Hamburg, even if we were exhausted at the end of the day from all the walking. ^_^ There's so much to see in Hamburg that one day just isn't enough. I hope we can go there again some time!
